My initial thoughts of legal weed was that it was going to be horrible! Thankfully my first sampling of the legal stuff with the White Shark from Redecan Pharm proved me wrong. Sadly I can't say the same of this stuff! The pill bottle tells me this is Liiv by CannTrust Inc. The strain is Easy Cheesy. It's a hybrid that is sativa dominant. Total THC 20%, total CBD <1%. The cannabis was packaged on Aug. 1 2018 which happens to be 3 months ago to the day! The weed weighed in at 1 gram which is what I paid for. There were 2 small-ish buds. The product was super dry. It felt like stale cotton candy. It had very little smell to it. If you're grinding it in a handheld grinder, one too many twists and the stuff turns to dust! The taste on this one was absolutely horrible! It taste like stale burnt weed. I couldn't finish the joint it was that bad! I'd be embarrassed to sell someone this garbage! The high was ultra weak and didn't last long at all! Have you ever misplaced or forgotten about some weed in a baggy and then find it months later? It's usually stale and lacks flavour. That's what I thought this sample was! This is exactly what I expected from legal cannabis! I'll probably stay away from Liiv & CannTrust products in the future, once I'm done with the ones I currently have. I'd grade this 2/10, which is probably on the generous side! I paid $7.95 (plus tax & shipping) for this one.
