*Way Back Throwback* Broken Coast - Ruxton 1 (Sour OG)

Broken Coast Cannabis Ltd with their strain Ruxton 1 (Sour OG). The bottle tells me that this hybrid is 70% sativa & 30% indica with a total THC of 20.2% and a total CBD of 0.03%. Cracking open the seal, I was greeted with a bunch of little buds that were fuzzy with crystals. The aroma that was emitting from the bottle was very earthy with a touch of diesel. The cannabis was fresh and ground up nicely in my grinder. I rolled up a little joint and fired her up. The flavours were very much like the smell, very earthy with a hint of diesel. It was a fairly smooth smoke. I found that the weed left a sour aftertaste lingering at the back of my throat. Reminiscent of eating a handful or sour keys. I wasn't a huge fan of the taste or aftertaste, but that's just personal preference. It wasn't bad, just not a favorite. The buzz this cannabis brought on was very enjoyable. It was a nice uplifting & motivating sativa dominant hybrid. Could feel it opening the eyes and mind. It also brought on some serious cotton mouth! This smoke was perfect to get lost in some music and to do some spring cleaning! I paid $58 (plus tax & shipping) for 5 grams of Ruxton 1. I'd rate this one a 7.5/10.
