I had high hopes for this one! I love anything along the lines of Bubba Kush, so D. Bubba had been on my radar for a little while. I've heard good things, let's see how this one holds up...

Appearance - 12.5/25 points
Size: 1 point (0 to 3 points avail.); Little broken up pieces. 1 gram couldn't be 1 or 2 nugs?
Color: 1.5 points (0 to 3 points avail.); Green & purple. Some areas the purple looks black.
Trim Job: 0 points (-3 to 3 points avail.); The little "nugs" look ok, but it almost seems like when they trimmed those "nugs", they left the leaf they trimmed off in the container.
Moisture: 2 points (-5 to 5 points avail.); It's fairly dry but does have some tackiness at the center of the nugs.
Bag Appeal: 0 points (0 to 3 points avail.); Ugly leaf litters the container!
Weight: 5 points (-5 to 5 points avail.); It did indeed weigh 1 gram, but maybe I should be weighing it without the extra leaf that I won't be smoking!
Trichomes: 2 points (0 to 3 points avail.); Surprisingly lots of undamaged trichome heads ranging from clear to milky in appearance.
Seeds: 0 points (-2 points per seed, max of -10 points); No seeds found.
Smell - 10/25 points
Appealing: 5 points (0 to 10 points avail.); It has a faint kush smell to her. That classic earthy smell.
Fragrant: 3 points (0 to 8 points avail.); Weak smell on this one. After you open the jar, the smell disappears fairly quickly.
Pungent: 2 points (0 to 7 points avail.); It did have a little bit of that kush stink to her, but it quickly vanished into thin air.
Bad Smell: 0 points (-5 to 0 points avail.); No bad smells.
Taste - -3/25 points
Flavor when Smoked: -2 points (-5 to 5 points avail.); If "gross, burnt, black" was a flavor, it would be this D. Bubba. It was pretty bad and made it a chore to smoke!
Harshness when Smoked: -2 points (-5 to 5 points avail.); Pretty harsh, left the throat hurting!
Flavor when Vaped: -2 points (-5 to 5 points avail.); Even when vaped, it still had the burnt gross flavor to it.
Harshness when Vaped: 2 points (-5 to 5 points avail.); The benefit to vaping, it was way less harsh, but still left a tickle in the throat.
Flavor from unlit inhale: 1 point (0 to 5 points avail.); Had a weak earthy flavor mixed in with what I would imagine grass clippings taste like.
Effects/Experience - -2/15 points
Strength: 1 point (-3 to 3 points avail.); The buzz I got from this one started slow and just as it felt like it was ramping up, it ends suddenly.
Length: 1 point (-3 to 3 points avail.); Around that 25 minute mark I began wondering if I had smoked anything.
Expected Effects: 2 points (-3 to 3 points avail.); It was nice and relaxing, while it lasted.
Ash: -3 points (-3 to 3 points avail.); haven't seen ash this black in a long time!
Burn: -3 points (-3 to 3 points avail.); I had to relight the joint 3 times! The fourth time I gave up and said screw it!
Value - -4/10 points
Quality: -2 points (-5 to 5 points avail.); This one wasn't cheap, but even if it was, the amount of loose leaf in the container paired with the horrible burn and flavor makes for some brutal quality cannabis!
Cannabis: -2 points (-5 to 5 points avail.); Largely overpriced for what you're getting!

I'm pretty disappointed with this D. Bubba from Namaste. I will maybe try it again sometime in the distant future. I'm wondering if maybe I had some bad luck with purchasing just 1 gram? Would I get better results from a 3.5? My first Namaste experience has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth, but I do believe in second chances.....until next time, Namaste!
